Kurt Adler Owl Glass Ornament

The custom that associates owls to Christmas goes way back to into the 19th century when Christmas ornaments that were mainly made out of glass and were either hung on the Christmas tree or worn to represent a wish and since owls symbolized intelligence and wisdom an individual wishing for wisdom would hang an owl ornament on their Christmas Tree.
