Sugar Cookies⁠ ⁠ Mix 1 c butter & 1 c sugar together. Add 1 beaten egg & 1 tbsp milk. In separate bowl, sift 3 c flour, 3/4 tsp baking powder & 1/4 tsp salt. Add to first mixture & beat until dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.⁠ ⁠ Refrigerate 2 hours. Roll out on floured surface 1/4" thick. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake for 7-9 minutes. Decorate!
