Cire Trudon Candles by Giambattista Valli

Giambattista Valli has imagined two delicately scented candles for France's oldest candle maker,Cire Trudon. Founded in 1643, the prestigious maison quickly became King Louis XIV‘s official candle supplier and has supplied the following kings at Versailles until the very end of the monarchy.

The limited-edition candles are beautifully named: “Positano” and “Rose Poivrée”. The first one is an ode to the small village situated on the Amalfi Coast in the south of Italy, the other is inspired by Marie Antoinette's‘s unconditional love of flowers.
