Absinthe Bistro Table - Black Marble - 20"dia

Made popular during Paris' 1920's Belle Epoque, marble bistro tables such as these, continue to be found on the streets of France and other parts of Europe. These solid marble, cast iron base tables are constructed the same manner as they were over 100 years ago.

Each table features the traditional brass band which encompasses the rim of the marble. The detail cast into the three legged base is reproduced exact from an original early 20th century French bistro table. All construction of the table has been faithfully reproduced, including the undercarriage of the marble table, which features a 3 heavy duty steel prong which holds the top to the base. The cast iron base and stem are held together by a large screw underneath the base.

• The tables are suitable for use indoors or out. If used outside, tarnishing may occur to the brass band.
